Registration will begin at 9:00 at the onsite venue. After the seminar, a networking event will be held from 13:05 to 14:00. An optional free tour of the related facilities at RWTH Aachen will be organized from 15:30 to 17:30 after the seminar (the application for the tour has been closed).

Our member JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) Düsseldorf is going to co-host an innovation seminar with Tokyo Institute of Technology and RWTH Aachen University to promote international cooperation between the research institutes of both universities, startups and Japanese and European companies.

Tokyo Tech and RWTH Aachen have been actively engaged in research and student exchanges since concluding a university-wide cooperation agreement in 2007. As a result, Tokyo Tech ANNEX Aachen was opened in 2019 on the campus of RWTH Aachen University.

This seminar will focus on Robotics and AI and present the latest research programs and related startups of both universities to promote industry-academia collaboration in Japan and Europe. An optional free tour of the related facilities at RWTH Aachen will be organized after the seminar (the application for the tour has been closed).

All companies, start-ups and VCs interested in industry-academia collaboration and innovation cooperation between Europe and Japan are invited to attend. Also all students, future entrepreneurs are welcome.
