On the road to carbon neutrality in 2045, the structural change in former coal mining regions is a big challenge. The German government has allocated massive incentives to support the development of low-carbon industries such as hydrogen technology, smart grids and clean mobility.
One of these regions is the “Lausitz” (engl. Lusatia) which is located in the States of Brandenburg and Saxony in Eastern Germany. Innovative projects in several technology fields are underway or in the pipeline here.
Experts from administration, industry (e.g., Skeleton, Nagano Keiki) and academia (e.g., Fraunhofer IAP) will provide first-hand information on the business potentials in Lausitz and give an insight into ongoing and planned projects in the field of energy, hydrogen and mobility.
The online workshop will be simultaneously translated into German and Japanese.
Participation is free of charge. The programme will be published shortly. Registration is already possible here: https://www.ecos.eu/en/project-management/webinar-from-coal-to-cool.html
