Did you know that the Düsseldorfer EG (DEG) has Japanese players and coaches – from the youth teams all the way up to the professional squad? A special sporting friendship connects DEG and Japan, and we’re celebrating it with DEG Japan Day – a unique event that unites ice hockey, culture, and community.

Experience Japanese ice hockey star Yushiroh Hirano, whose energy and passion make him a true symbol of the sporting bond between Germany and Japan. At Japan Day on October 26, 2025, DEG will face off against a top team from DEL2 – expect an evening full of speed, emotion, and electrifying atmosphere!

Location: PSD BANK DOME, Düsseldorf-Rath
Game start: 5:00 p.m. – please arrive 1–2 hours early to enjoy the spectacular pre-game show!
Getting there: Take tram line 701 (stop: PSD BANK DOME) or come by car – parking is available.
