Japan’s new invoice system starts officially this October, what will it mean for your business?
DJWパートナー日欧産業協力センター主催イベント
This webinar will provide a summary of the new "Qualified Invoice system" in Japan. On October 1, 2023, Japan will implement a qualified invoice system for Japanese consumption tax ("JCT") purposes. The system will require buyers to retain invoices ("Qualified Invoices") provided by enterprises registered with the tax office ("Registered Enterprises") to claim input JCT credits. A definition of qualified invoices, the registration to issue Qualified Invoices, requirements for sellers, and the calculation of JCT is included.
The webinar is targeted to EU companies that do business with Japan and have questions regarding the impact of the invoice system on their fiscal and accounting affairs.
In 40 minutes from your desk, discover:
- What the new invoice system entails
- Whether your company will have to follow the new system
