Topic

Data protection and the many issues related thereto have been challenging for companies in Germany as well as in Japan. Numerous internal and external regulations, processes and proceedings had to be put to test. Especially the cross-border exchange of data, hiring and training qualified employees as well as the pursuit of projects with Japan, being categorized as third country, were subject to validations and adjustments.

Close to six months have passed since the implementation of GDPR, and we would like to take a look at status quo and future agendas of companies in order to comply with the regulations. With this seminar, we will give you an update on recent developments and draw an interim conclusion on the feasability of the data regulation. The speakers will share their expertise on effective corporate governance, outline future necessities and offer guidance with regard to effective steps to further approach GDPR successfully.
