Berlin goes Japan 2026

The application phase for the delegation trip “Berlin goes Japan 2026” is now open!
From October 5–9, 2026, Berlin Partner for Business and Technology is organizing a business delegation trip to Japan – one of the world’s leading innovation ecosystems in the life sciences sector. The delegation is aimed at Berlin‑based companies active in personalized and regenerative medicine, cell and gene therapy, ATMP development, and biotechnology. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the Japanese market, connect with international cooperation partners, and build sustainable, high‑level networks.

A key highlight of the trip is participation in BioJapan in Yokohama, Asia’s leading bio‑partnering event. BioJapan provides an international platform for biotechnology, regenerative medicine, and digital health and attracts more than 18,000 industry professionals from around the world each year. The program is complemented by the EU‑Japan Biotech & Pharma Partnering Conference 2026 in Osaka, which brings together European and Japanese companies through curated 1:1 meetings, pitches, and networking formats, serving as an ideal lead‑in to BioJapan. In addition, participants will gain exclusive insights into Japan’s strongest innovation hubsthrough site visits to leading Japanese life‑science and pharmaceutical companies.
