The Future of Mobility – Innovative Mobility Projects in Düsseldorf

Due to climate change, digitization and new urban planning concepts, mobility in all of its forms – from micro mobility to the automotive sector to the aviation industry – is undergoing disruptive changes, a process which is far from over yet. These changes impose major challenges to companies, communities and cities, but also offer various new opportunities.

How is the City of Düsseldorf prepared for these challenges? Which innovative mobility projects are currently implemented at the business location? And what opportunities do they offer especially for Japanese companies?

In this seminar, JETRO and the Office of Economic Development Düsseldorf would like to provide you with a brief overview of recent developments regarding new mobility trends in Germany and Düsseldorf and to introduce the participants to some case studies on innovative mobility projects in Düsseldorf as well as the links they might offer for Japanese companies.
