Finally, the economy throughout Europe is set to expand on a broad basis. Meanwhile, the political landscape and its established values of collaboration and cooperation are increasingly being tested. Set between the general elections in France and Germany, this panel discusses resulting challenges from the perspective of economists and policymakers.

ヨーロッパ経済は、全体としてようやく回復の過程に入ってきたように思われる。一方、ヨーロッパの政治的流れ、長い間に培われてきた域内の協力や連携という価値観がますます問われている。フランスの総選挙が終わりドイツでの総選挙が迫る中、こうした課題についてエコノミストおよび政策立案者の視点から議論を深めたい。
