Fukushima - NRW Seminar

In 2014, the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and Fukushima Prefecture have concluded a Memorandum of Understanding regarding cooperation in the fields of renewable energy and medical devices. Since then, the two regions work together in close coordination to advance technological development and industrial promotion in those areas.

At the special seminar in Düsseldorf this October, Mr. Uchibori, the Governor of Fukushima introduces the current status of Fukushima such as accelerating the reconstruction, the charm of the prefecture and the prefecture’s activities to set out to be the front-runner in the field of renewable energy in Japan. Furthermore, the representatives of NRW-based companies active in the field of renewable energy and medical devices will give presentations regarding their projects and the economical exchanges between both regions in progress.

This is a valuable opportunity to hear the latest “News” from Fukushima by the Governor himself. We look forward to having you join us.
