Expat-Service-Event “Taxation in Germany”

The German tax system can seem to be very complicated and confusing, especially for international professionals who have recently come to Germany. Different types, classes and declaration of taxes are often unclear for expats and newcomers. The language can also be a barrier because the information is mostly available in German. Companies and HR-managers may have some problems with tax issues when dealing with international professionals in their companies.

To provide the basic and most important information about taxation in Germany for international professionals, HR-managers and for the self-employed, the Expat Service Desk hosts the event “Taxation in Germany”.

We have invited two renowned speakers - one from the Institute of the German Economy Cologne (IW) and a tax consultant from the County of Mettmann. The speakers will talk about the general taxation topics in Germany such as facts and figures of the German tax system, types, classes and declaration of taxes. Afterwards, they will be available to answer questions.
