The Expat Service Desk invites you, expats / international professionals, newcomers, HR-managers and the relevant international institutions from Düsseldorf and the County of Mettmann to our next Expat-Service-Event on the topic: "First Steps in Germany”

Time: Thursday, the 30th of November 2017 at 6:30 pm
Place: „Haus der Universität“ (Schadowplatz 14, 40212 Düsseldorf, Room 2, 2nd Floor).

International professionals who are going to work in Germany and move to Düsseldorf / Mettmann County have to consider a great number of administrative procedures and formalities. In many cases these details are different from those in other countries. Newcomers are often not familiar with administrative procedures and formalities like obligatory registration, compulsory schooling or many others. A good organized preparation will significant facilitate a new start for international employees and their fast integration in the company. During our Expat-Service-Event the most important issues to do after arrival to Germany will be highlighted and the online-platform of the Federal Government “Make-it-in-Germany” will be introduced.
