The Japanese-German Business Association (DJW) is delighted to invite you to a very special opening event marking the start of our anniversary year “Celebrating 40 Years of DJW”: 

Together with Fortuna Düsseldorf, we warmly welcome the German-Japanese business community to an afternoon where passion for sport meets the spirit of partnership and exchange. Few things unite people as deeply as sport. And fussball is a universal language, one that speaks of teamwork, respect, and shared goals. It creates moments of genuine connection, turning strangers into teammates and communities into lasting networks. 

Fortuna Düsseldorf perfectly embodies this connecting power. With strong ties to the Japanese community in Düsseldorf and with Komatsu as new partner of the club, Fortuna underlines its ongoing connection to Japan on and off the pitch. We are honored that Fortuna CEO Alexander Jobst will open the event with welcoming remarks before we dive into the background story of Komatsu’s commitment to Fortuna with an impulse speech and experience the match between Fortuna Düsseldorf and SC Paderborn 07 together. 

This special time will be about more than football – it’s about celebrating friendship, collaboration, and community spirit between Germany and Japan. It’s about how shared enthusiasm can inspire trust, dialogue, and long-term partnerships far beyond the stadium. 

Let’s celebrate 40 years of DJW and the connections that keep growing – on the field, in business, and between people.

DJW Members: EUR 0 / JPY 0
Non-Members: EUR 35 / JPY 5.000

For this event, we are happy to welcome a maximum of 30 participants. Registrations will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

Please Note:
According to our conditions of participation, the participation fee is due for no-shows as well. Registered participants who need to cancel their attendance may do so by email (events@djw.de) up to 3 days prior to the event. Thank you for your cooperation.

Admission Notification

Admission is via the turnstiles at the South Entrance. After entering by showing your ticket, please keep to the left and proceed to staircases K3, K4, or K5.

At these points, wristbands for the showroom event can be collected at the VIP check-in (K3/K4 on Level 0 or K5 on Level 2) upon presentation of a valid ticket (digital tickets are sufficient).
