Exclusive DJW Visit to Expo 2025 in Osaka – Guided Tour of the German Pavilion with the Pavilion Director Christopher Hecker

DJW invites you to a very special highlight at Expo 2025 in Osaka: As an official partner of the German Pavilion, we are thrilled to offer an exclusive guided tour led by the Pavilion Director, Christopher Hecker.

Under the main theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” Expo 2025 focuses on global solutions for the world of tomorrow. The German Pavilion, “Wa! Germany,” presents forward-looking ideas in the fields of sustainability, technology, and social transformation – offering a unique platform for German-Japanese perspectives on a livable future.

Our visit will begin in the afternoon with a joint entrance through the East Gate of the Expo site. At 16:00, we will enjoy an exclusive guided tour of the German Pavilion offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at the concept, content, and vision behind Germany’s official contribution to the Expo. Afterwards, we will continue with a relaxed dinner (self-pay basis) at the pavilion restaurant with reserved seating. This is a perfect opportunity for further exchange, meaningful conversations, and networking within the German-Japanese business community. A short lecture and Q&A session will round off the evening program.

Tickets and Entrance

DJW has secured seven VIP tickets for admission to both the Expo site and the German Pavilion. The VIP tickets are reserved for DJW members and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Everybody - DJW members as well as guests - is welcome to join us. Once the VIP tickets are handed out, additional tickets can be purchased individually via the official website of Expo Osaka 2025.

Important Information

• With the VIP tickets, you can use the VIP entrance at the East Gate (the gate all the way to the right – see map in the download section).
• Please note that the tickets must be brought in printed form, as the printout needs to be handed in on site. Showing the Pavilion VIP Card digitally on your phone is not sufficient.
• For regular access to the Expo site, no registration or linking with the Expo app and an “Expo ID” is required.
