German Economic Roundtable in Osaka

The German Consulate General Osaka-Kobe, the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (AHK Japan) and the Japanese-German Business Association (DJW) cordially invite you to our networking event “German Economic Roundtable Osaka”.

The cooperation was launched in 2017 and we are pleased to continue the tradition and give the Japanese-German business community the opportunity to meet and network in the Kansai region.

The opening of the Osaka Expo 2025 is approaching fast and March 13^th will be exactly one month before the official opening ceremony. This roundtable will focus on Osaka’s biggest event of the decade, and the role that Germany will play to contribute to its success.

We are looking forward to an updated presentation on the German pavilion by Patrick Specht, Commissioner General of the German Pavilion for the Expo 2025, as well as Christopher Hecker, Director of the German Pavilion for the Expo 2025. A detailed model of the pavilion will be exhibited on site. Furthermore, we will get presentations from Osaka Health Care Pavilion and Sumitomo Pavilion.

After the talks, there will be a buffet reception with 2 hours of networking time.

Participation Fee

Members of DJW and / or AHK Japan participate free of charge; non-members pay a participation fee of JPY 3,000.

Note

In accordance with our conditions of participation, the registration is to be done by 09:00 a.m. JST of March 10^th, and the participation fee is due even in the event of a no-show. Registered participants who need to cancel their participation can do so by e-mail by 09:00 a.m. JST of March 10^th  as well.
