The German Consulate General Osaka-Kobe, the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (AHK Japan) and the Japanese-German Business Association (DJW) are pleased to welcome you to our “German Economic Roundtable” networking event. This cooperation was initiated in 2017 and we are happy to continue the tradition of providing joint networking opportunities for the German-Japanese business community.
Content
With each roundtable, we address a topic of mutual interest for both our countries. This time, on the occasion of this year’s 150th anniversary of the German Consulate General Osaka-Kobe, we will look back at the rich history of German business in Kansai and Kobe.
We are honored to present you the president of C. Illies & Co - the oldest operational German business in Japan - as well as the president of Juchheim, creating original German Baumkuchen from Kobe for more than 100 years. On top of that, the CEO of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan will provide insights on the current situation and look ahead on the German business presence in Japan and Kansai.
Join us for insightful talks and networking at the Roundtable in Kobe!
