The Idea of the "Networking Hub"
DJW's most valuable asset is our experienced members with their diverse personal contacts within the Japanese-German business community. In order to orchestrate the fruitful, thematically diverse member dialog and to make the various players in the DJW network visible, we have launched our DJW "Networking Hub". The Hub is a means to make the exchange, mutual support and sharing of information even more immediate and decentralized, as well as to leverage further networking potential; in short: to support direct dialog among our members.
DJW offers its digital infrastructure via Microsoft Teams for this purpose. With the "Workspaces" integrated within the "Networking Hub", we have also created digital spaces to exchange ideas on specific topics and issues and to bundle information thematically. The Workspaces are based on the initiative of committed members and are loosely organized platforms for exchange. Every member of DJW can get involved in one or more Workspaces. The dialogue can take place online in the respective Workspace, but also offline in the context of events. Events are organized by the members of the workspace on their own responsibility, gladly in consultation with the DJW team.
We have launched the "Networking Hub" one year ago and would like to improve it in usability, feasability, members' engagement. To reach this, we invite our members to brainstorm and share perspectives on how to make the Hub even more useful for everybody!
Join us on June 2 - we are looking forward to putting our heads together!
