Career & Networking Event

Are you looking for career opportunities in an international environment? Are you curious about working for a Japanese company in Hamburg – as a student, graduate, trainee or professional?

Then join this Career & Networking Event – Meet Japanese Employers in Hamburg, jointly organized by Hamburg’s Consulate General of Japan, Japamburg and DJW.

At this event, you will meet Japanese companies based in the Hamburg metropolitan region that are actively looking for new talent. Whether you are at the beginning of your career, looking for a student job or apprenticeship, or already have professional experience – this event is designed to connect you directly with potential employers.

Participating companies will briefly introduce themselves, share their current hiring needs and give insights into career paths and working culture in Japanese companies. A keynote on Japanese corporate culture will help you better understand what working for a Japanese employer really means.

The event is open to participants from all academic backgrounds and professional levels. No specific language skills or prior Japan-related studies are required. The working language of the event is English.

The programme concludes with an informal networking session with Japanese catering – the perfect opportunity for personal conversations and first career connections.
