Head of Supply Chain Management (m/f/d) – Japan

SCM, Supply Chain Controlling, Procurement & Product Engineering, Asset Management

As the head of Supply-Chain-, Operations- & Asset Management you’ll lead the supply chain management team and develop and implement an overall strategy for all relevant SCM areas. You’ll question and improve processes and procedures and you’ll also improve your team by guiding and training. We will endow you with full accountability for cost, processes and KPIs (incl. CAPEX, OPEX). You’ll report to the President Japan and dotted line to the global SCM (German Headquarter).

We will ensure that you will get familiar with procedures and processes of the company. After an intensive training you will be starting your challenging job immediately. We will offer you an adequate compensation and the social security benefits offered in Japan.

After your degree as Master or Bachelor of Science Supply Chain you offer at least 7-10 years operative experience in relevant SCM functions – at least 5 years in leading roles. You know about the special requirements towards a multi-national company of the Japanese market – preferably in Food-, Wholesale, Trade, Logistic or comparable industries. Additionally you are able to think strategically and act entrepreneurial. Besides excellent Japanese language skills you also speak English fluently.
