Aufgaben
Our client is a Japanese Automotive supplier and global market leader in its field. The company is currently hiring an “Operation Manager (m/f/d)” for its office location in Frankfurt area.

Your tasks
Main tasks are to manage daily sales transactions (i.e. order to cash) and delivery. Work collectively with multiple customers, third party service providers and colleagues in related departments to maintain smooth transactions including order processing, delivery arrangement, sales booking, return and inventory management. Responsibility also includes sales forecasting, which requires good understanding of market situation and basic negotiations to achieve sales targets for the company.

• Manage order to cash (from order receival to payment collection)
• Process customer orders
• Booking of sales transactions
• Arrange and manage product deliveries, returns and adequate inventory level
• Manage inventory including creating inventory reports and conducting stocktaking
• Communication and basic negotiation with customer sales and logistic departments and external forwarder, logistic partners and/or tax consultant
• Communication with related teams in the group for smooth delivery arrangements and sales booking
• Monitor and report sales figures on a weekly basis
• Sales and demand forecasting (monthly/quarterly/annual)
• Monitor transactions details including price and make necessary corrections/adjustments
• Support periodical company audit
• Other miscellaneous tasks to support sales team
Anforderungen
• Fluent in English and Japanese, good German communication skills
• Standard IT skills (email and documentation with MS Office and other popular software)
• Good communication skills
• Problem solving skills with optimistic mindset
• Attention and awareness to details
• Basic understanding of logistics and global trade (importing/exporting/taxation)
• Basic understanding of accounting
• Able to go on business trips mainly within EU region (2-3 times a year, two days trip)
