Our client is the Automotive Division of a Japanese company located in Wuppertal who is currently looking for a Sales Engineer.

Your tasks
The objective of this position is to support the Automotive customers and be the technical interface between company, production and customer. Tasks may include:

• Collaborating with sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support, processing orders/requests
• Presentation of company’s products to potential customers, regular business travel
• Contact person for technical customer requests and communication interface between customers in Automotive Industry (interior equipment) and Production (injection molding / extrusion machines)
• Researching, developing and modifying production machines in close cooperation with engineering team to meet customers' technical requirements and needs
• Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and customize machinery.

• Successfully completed university degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Textile Technology, Manufacturing/Production Technology or similar field
• Experience in customer support and Automotive Industry advantageous, but job entry candidates very welcome
• Know how about molding machines and using CAD software is a plus
• Language skills: English business fluent, German or Japanese advantageous
• International communication skills, well organized, good team player, target-oriented
• Good MS office skills
