Strategic Alliance Manager / Country Manager (m/f/d) Japan
Our client is a globally active leading player in the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) manufacturing industry from Germany. Due to high growth in the recent years, they are looking for a Strategic Alliance Manager to enforce sales and business activities in Japan and establish a new office in the Tokyo area.
Objectives / Tasks / Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to build up sustainable customer relationships with focus on key targets in the printing industry and the development of sales in defined target markets and applications. You are the first point of contact for the Japanese accounts.
•Identify structures and key decision makers at key accounts and key targets
•Align commercial requirements and risk assessment with internal stakeholders
•Reporting about market trends, issues and competition to Headquarter
•Preparing offers to customers and follow-up
•Participate / visit trade events
•Prepare agenda and meeting schedule for visiting colleagues
•Support sales team and other internal HQ departments
The ideal candidate should bring the following qualifications:
•University degree, ideally with focus on electronics, industrial engineering or commercial, but not mandatory
•At least 5 years experience in sales, preferably at globally operating Japanese company
•Technical background and knowledge about RFID products / markets advanta-gous
•Excellent MS Office user skills
Japanese and English on a business fluent level
•Patience, self-motivation and excellent intercultural communication skills
•Knowledge about Japanese business culture
•High willingness for business travel
