MEDICA/COMPAMED 2023

MEDICA is the largest medical B2B trade fairs in the world, offers a wide range of innovative medical technology, electromedical equipment, laboratory equipment, diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals. COMPAMED is a leading international trade fair for the medical technology supplier sector, offers a comprehensive range of raw materials and intermediate products, parts, components and sub-products for medical devices, equipment and technologies, packaging and service, microsystem technology and nanotechnology, and contract manufacturing. In addition, the events provide forums and conferences which include interesting presentations, pitches, and discussions with experts. Both fairs take place once a year in Düsseldorf and recorded a total of 81,000 visitors in 2022 with an international proportion of 75 percent, a notable increase from 46,000 in 2021.

Tokyo Metropolitan Government will exhibit at MEDICA2023 and COMPAMED2023, which take place in Messe Dusseldorf from 13-16 November 2023. The Tokyo Pavilion consists of 15 Tokyo-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have earned a reputation both in Japan and overseas for their advanced technologies and products. 7 of them participate in MEDICA, and 8 in COMPAMED.
